Western U P Snowmobile Trail Report 2/27/2026

Today our temps will be a high of 43, but the temps drop back down tonight, only in the single digits. Saturday & Sunday, our temps will only be in the teens with single digits again at night. Next week, our temps will be warming up to the 30s during the day and the 20s at night. Please stay on marked trails. Riding on unmarked trails can result in the clubs losing easement rights to those trails.

Gogebic Range Trail Authority Groomer Report:

Come up and enjoy one more last ride! Maybe 3, 4, 6 last rides! Spring riding is just as fun! Last night on Trail 2 from Bessemer to Hurley was groomed along with Trail 160 and back! Groomers report trails are in very good condition.

Gogebic Area Groomers Report:

Trail's are in very good shape! It is looking like a brief warmup on Friday, then temps look to be perfect all next week. We are moving into March, but these next few weeks could be the best riding of the season! Gogebic Area Grooming

U.P. Thunder Riders Trail Report:

Groomers have been out, and the trails are back to good to very good condition. Some corners might be rough. We will continue to send groomers out daily as long as the weather permits.
