Western U P Snowmobile Trail Report 1/5/2026

The next several days, our temps will be in the 30s during the day and 20s at night. With the warmer weather, the trails will have more bumps, so please be safe! Please stay on marked trails. Riding on unmarked trails can result in the clubs losing easement for that trail.

102, 13 north of M28, 1n and 8w we're all groomed tonight. We anticipate having a full crew in tonight (Tuesday evening) to ensure our entire system is covered. The weather forecast calls for a brief warmup, but it won't affect the trails. It will loosen the snow and create bumps, and again, we'll have to play catch-up to stay ahead. We will also attempt to open up the entirety of 8w this week.

U.P. Thunder Riders Trail Report 1/4/2026

Groomers Jammer and Jeff went out last night. The trails are setting up nicely. Took a ride today from Watersmeet, Boulder Junction, Land O Lakes, and Conover. All the trails were wonderful. Traffic was very light. Remember to Ride Right and Ride Safe.
